Phase One
What we build first, why it is in this order, and what each piece is actually for.
Quick answer
Phase 1 has one centre and six spokes. The centre is the Everything Agent — the thing that converts attention once you have it. The spokes are the channels that create attention in the first place: organic social, paid ads, AI advertising, AEO, GEO and translation.
We build the centre first, deliberately. Sending more traffic at a site that cannot hold a conversation is the most common and most expensive mistake in local marketing.
Convert first. Then amplify.
Most agencies sell you the amplification because it is easier to invoice monthly. It is also the reason so many businesses have spent five years buying traffic that never had anywhere good to land.
- The agent goes in first
It works on the traffic you already have, so it produces a return before you have spent another dollar on media. It also generates transcripts — which tell us exactly what your market is confused about, and that shapes everything downstream.
- Then the earned channels
Organic social, AEO and GEO. Slower to start, and they compound. Every one of them keeps working after the invoice stops, which is the entire reason they belong before paid in the sequence.
- Then the bought channels
Paid ads and AI advertising. Fastest to switch on, and the only ones that stop the moment you stop paying. They are genuinely useful — they are just a poor foundation.
- Translation last, or first
It depends entirely on your market. In much of Southwest Florida a second language is not a nice-to-have, and when that is true it moves to the front.
What each one is actually for.
| Workstream | What it does | How fast it pays |
|---|---|---|
| The Everything Agent | Converts existing attention into conversations and bookings across four surfaces | Fast — works on today's traffic |
| Organic social | Builds the presence and proof that makes every other channel cheaper | Slow, compounding |
| Paid ads | Buys intent that already exists, at whatever the auction currently costs | Immediate, stops when you stop |
| AI advertising | Paid placement inside AI assistants, while the inventory is still young | Fast, and cheapest right now |
| AEO | Makes you the source an AI quotes when someone asks your question | Medium, compounding |
| GEO | Shapes how the models describe your business across every answer | Medium, compounding |
| Translation | Makes all of the above work in the languages your market actually speaks | Depends on your market |
Why this combination lowers what a customer costs.
Every business we take on is buying customers at some price. The problem is almost never the ads — it is that ads are the only thing carrying the business.
When paid is your only channel you are in a permanent auction against everyone else who has also worked out that this keyword converts. Your cost per customer is set by your most aggressive competitor's willingness to lose money, and it only goes one way.
Adding channels that do not bid changes the arithmetic. An agent converts more of the traffic you already bought. AEO and GEO earn citations rather than clicks. Organic social lowers the cost of every other channel by making you a name people recognise before they see the ad.
The target we design toward is a 70–90% reduction in cost per acquired customer across a full Phase 1. That is a modelled range, not a measured average — see the note below.
We have not published before-and-after CAC data for this yet, so we will not present that range as a result. It is the target the engagement is designed toward, and we will show real numbers when clients' own reporting produces them.
How ninety days actually runs.
We research the business properly — your services, your market, your competitors, your reviews, what people already ask you — and write the knowledge base everything else draws from.
Built, guardrailed and deployed in its first mode. Usually the website, because it proves value on traffic you already pay for.
AEO and GEO work on the site and off it; the social engine starts producing. These are the slow-burn assets, so they start early.
Paid and AI advertising switch on once there is something worth sending traffic to, and once we know from transcripts what actually converts.
Questions we get asked
You say 70–90% lower customer acquisition cost. Is that a guarantee?
No, and we are deliberate about this. That range is the target we design an engagement toward — a model built from what each channel typically contributes, not an average of measured client outcomes. We do not have published before-and-after CAC data yet, and until we do we will not present it as a result. When a client's own reporting produces real numbers, we will say so and show them.
Can I start with just one piece?
Yes. The most common single starting point is the website agent, because it is self-contained and proves out quickly. AEO and GEO are also perfectly reasonable standalone starts if you already convert well and simply are not being found.
Why is Phase 2 separate?
Because automation should follow evidence. Phase 1 produces the data about where your time and money actually go; Phase 2 automates the expensive parts using that evidence. Automating first means guessing.
Do you work monthly or by project?
Engagements are scoped to the business rather than sold from a rate card. Some are project-shaped, most have a monthly component because the earned channels need continuous work to compound. We will tell you which shape fits on the first call.
How long have you been doing this?
Since 2001. My Local Everything is merging with 1 On 1 Internet Marketing, founded that year, which has served more than 17,000 clients and affiliates across 25 years of local marketing.
