Translation & global reach

Southwest Florida does not speak one language. Neither does your customer base, and neither should your business.

Quick answer

We translate the whole stack, not just the visible words: the page content, the structured data behind it, the Everything Agent so it converses in that language, and the AEO and GEO work so you are cited by assistants answering in that language too.

A translation widget changes the text a visitor sees. It does not make you findable, quotable or answerable in that language — which is where the customers actually are.

Why it matters here

The customer is already searching in Spanish.

In Southwest Florida this is not a theoretical international-expansion conversation. A substantial share of the local market searches, asks and buys in a language other than English — Spanish predominantly, with meaningful Portuguese, French and Haitian Creole populations depending on the neighbourhood.

Those customers are not poorly served because businesses do not want them. They are poorly served because almost every local competitor has an English-only site, an English-only agent and English-only structured data — which means that in Spanish, the answer engine has very few local options to recommend.

That is an unusually cheap advantage. The competition in the second language is a fraction of the competition in the first.

  • Far lower competition than the same query in English
  • A market that is local, present and currently underserved
  • The same agent, answering fluently, with the same knowledge
  • Structured data and hreflang so search and assistants both understand
What gets translated

Four layers. Most agencies do one.

LayerWhat it meansWhat happens if it is skipped
The contentEvery page written properly in the target language, not machine-swapped word for wordIt reads as foreign and the bounce rate says so
The structured dataSchema, meta, hreflang and canonical relationships done per languageSearch engines serve the wrong version, or none
The agentThe Everything Agent converses natively in that language with the same knowledge behind itYour best conversion tool works for one audience only
The answersAEO and GEO work targeting how the question is asked in that languageYou are invisible to assistants answering in it — the largest miss of the four
How we do it without embarrassing you

Machine first, human where it counts.

Modern machine translation is genuinely good and pretending otherwise wastes client money. It is also confidently wrong in exactly the places that matter — idiom, tone, regional variety, and anything with legal or medical weight.

So: machine translation does the volume, and a human reviews anything a customer makes a decision on. Service descriptions, prices, guarantees, medical or legal language, and the agent's guardrails all get human review. A blog post about seasonal maintenance does not need it.

We also match the regional variety. Caribbean and South American Spanish are not interchangeable, and in this market getting it wrong is noticed immediately.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Can I not just use Google Translate on my site?

A browser translation widget helps a visitor who has already found you. It does nothing for whether they find you — a translation layer applied in the browser is not indexed, is not in your structured data, and is not visible to an AI crawler. The visitors are the small half of the problem.

Which languages should I do?

Whichever your market actually contains. We look at census data for your service area, your existing enquiry mix, and what your competitors do or fail to do. In much of Collier and Lee County the answer is Spanish first and it is not close.

Does this hurt my English SEO?

Not when it is implemented correctly — hreflang and canonicals exist precisely to prevent it. Done badly it absolutely can, which is the main reason we do not treat translation as a plugin.

Will the agent really hold a conversation in Spanish?

Yes, with the same knowledge base behind it. The guardrails are reviewed by a human per language, because a guardrail that only exists in English is not a guardrail.

How long have you been doing this?

Since 2001. My Local Everything is merging with 1 On 1 Internet Marketing, founded that year, which has served more than 17,000 clients and affiliates across 25 years of local marketing.

Your competitors are English-only.

That is a market sitting in front of you with almost nobody bidding for it.
